Ana Krivičić

Ana Krivičić was building her career in Social Accounting and Auditing Office Rijeka (today FINA - Financial Agency). She held many management positions and the last one was CEO assistant responsible for analyses, controls, and inspection. In 1993, she turned over a new leaf in her career and became a partner and a director of HLB Inženjerski biro and today she is still with HLB. In her 46 years of work, she has gained great experience in accounting, tax, and financial regulations in the economic system in its broadest sense.
Over the last 15 years, she has acquired particularly strong background in the field of financial statements auditing and audit-related services. As a director and now also the president of the Management Board, she has acquired large experience in the Company's management, communication with clients and employees, for which the Company is particularly known.
By her work, she is setting an example to other employees. She makes every effort to do her job professionally and at the satisfaction of her clients and employees allowing them to express their professional capabilities to a maximum degree. She has a special liking for working with young people and transferring her rich knowledge to them, and for bringing out their humanity and positive thinking about the job they do. In her opinion, all this together with dedication and high professionalism, contributes to happier working environment for everybody. In her spare time, she likes going to the theatre and listening to classical music. She used to be active in gymnastics and athletics. Sportsmanship is still a part of her and she takes pleasure in walking and jogging.

Tomislav Ugrin

Tomislav Ugrin became a member of HLB Inženjerski biro in 2001. His road the current position was logical, from a junior to an assistant, and than to the manager. Today, Tomislav is a partner in the Company specialized in auditing, due diligence, consulting (IT, organization), financial reporting, and accounting, As a member of the Management Board, he is also concerned with management of the Company's segments.
He pursues a professional approach to his work at the satisfaction of his associates and co-workers, and the users of the Company's services. As an employee and a partner, he would like to see HLB Inženjerski biro as a leading company in terms of expertise and professionalism in its segment of business and to secure satisfaction to his co-workers in doing their jobs, professional improvement and on-going progress, but also material prosperity. He favours positive thinking and looking ahead all the time. Those who know him say sometimes that he has a vision. He spends his spare time with his family. He is particularly fond of outings in the country and getting together with his friends.

Kristina Krivičić Ugrin

Kristina Krivičić Ugrin started her career in HLB in 2000 as a junior working under the mentorship of a certified auditor. Then she became an assistant, an audit team leader of basic and consolidated financial statements.

Today, she is a manager less involved in auditing but highly specialized in accountancy and financial reporting. Her approach to every job is highly professional and she performs them to full satisfaction of her associates, co-workers, and clients. When she has some spare time, she reads or plays the piano. She used to be an active sportswoman, a gymnast and a coach. Kristina likes teaching others and she finds happiness in her family and her friends.

Zdenko Starčević

Qualifications: Graduate in Economics, Certified Auditor Post: Manager,  Audit Team Leader Areas:  Auditing, Material Financial Control, Tax Control

After rich work experience, of which the longest is a 5-year experience in Sjemenarna Rijeka as a financial and accountancy manager, Zdenko Starčević started working with HLB Inženjerski biro in April 2008. He is an audit team leader and a qualified senior specialized in auditing.

His special motivation in working is the environment that keeps learning and moving up and the people who recognize the knowledge as the largest capital.  Like other HLB staff, he favours teamwork, positive thinking, socializing and teaching others. As an important value in his life, he always underlines the family.

Ika Bevandić

Qualifications: Graduate in Economics, Certified Auditor Post: Senior Areas: Auditing, Due Diligence, Tax Advisory

Ika Bevandić Barbalić became a staff member of HLB Inženjerski biro in 2005 and since then she has advanced from a junior via junior assistant to a senior in auditing. She has gained considerable experience by participating in numerous auditing jobs. Her latest achievement is the exam she passed for a certified auditor. Her goal is achievement of high professional standards and pursue of on-going professional improvement.

Primarily, she is a team worker but the background of her creative nature is her love for drawing and design, and the art in general. Her family, her child, healthy life, love for animals and nature, and humanity are only some of the determinants the most important to Ika.

Alen Ujčić

Qualifications: Graduate in Economics Post:  Senior Areas:  Financial Statements, Auditing

Alen Ujčić has been working on auditing of financial statements since September 2007. Already now, though at the beginning of his career, he knows what goals he should pursue, these are professionalism and higher possible quality in completing the tasks he is assigned. He has been building a certified auditor career by on-going learning and training. In his spare time, when not busy with auditing jobs, he enjoys walking in the country, jogging, fitness, and swimming.

Ana Glibo

Ana Glibo has been with HLB Inženjerski biro since January 2008. She participates in financial statement auditing. Every job she is entrusted, she tries to do it properly, with precision, and in a responsible manner. She wishes to improve her professional skills and achieve higher level of proficiency by investing in her knowledge and education. Development through interpersonal relations is very important to her. She likes spending her spare time in the nature and with her friends. Basic support in her life she get from her family. She believes in power of positive thinking about other people and herself and she thinks that positive relations in the family and in private life generally have great influence on professional development of a person.

Marin Mijolović

Qualifications: Graduate in Economics Post: Younger Senior Areas:  Financial Statements Auditing

Marin is one of younger members of the Company's staff. He joined us in 2008 and works on financial statement auditing. The guiding principle in his work is a high quality of the work he does and timely execution of the tasks assigned. With his diligent work and constant learning, he wishes to acquire new knowledge in auditing and related services. He spends his spare time in sport and recreation.

Romana Lukić

Qualifications: Graduate in Economics Post: Younger Senior Areas:  Auditing

Romana Lukić specializes in financial statement auditing. Her aspiration is independence in her work, high level of knowledge and professional skill, and the environment where teamwork is a preference. She enjoys spending her spare time with her family and dear people, if possible outdoor, in the country. She finds it very important to work with people who think positively and favour teamwork and helping others.

Danijel Paliska

Danijel Paliska is a member of HLB Inženjerski biro's successful team. He works on auditing and aspires to give his maximum as to contribute to the prosperity of the Company as a whole. He gets support from the team members who inspire and encourage him to continue with learning and professional improvement. The family is an important link in his life. He thinks and acts positively and though being an auditor, he has somewhat unusual extra job – occasionally, he works as a DJ.

Zoran Ćuk

Qualifications: Graduate in Economics Post: Junior Areas:  Auditing

After graduating, Zoran Ćuk  entered the world of commerce, but after a year, he decided to continue with his studies and improving in his profession. In HLB Inženjerski biro he works in Audit. With his great working enthusiasm he is eager to continualy acquire new knowlledges for the benefit of the company. He spends his free time among his closest. 

Maja Bistričić

Qualifications: Graduate in Economics Areas:  Office Manager

Maja Bistričić, after she left her former company Tomac & Partners, continued her business career with HLB Inženjerski biro where she started as a clerk and today she is an office manager specialized in accountancy. She also takes care of other needs of her co-workers and the office in general. She would like to improve her knowledge acquired thus far and expand the horizons by new knowledge. Her wish is on-going learning and investing in knowledge. She spends her spare time in yoga lessons and going to the theatre and cinema. She is a cheerful and positive person with aspirations to teamwork.
